I have decided to post a little about me and this pregnancy. This is my fourth baby, I have two little girls ages 2 and 3 and we lost a baby in August of last year (2010). This time we are hoping for a boy. I am high risk. My first baby was born very premature at 28 wks gestation. She just turned 3 on June 23rd and my second pregnancy, I went into labor at 34 weeks and they got it stopped and she was born at 38 wks 5 days. She was born with a birth defect called a Duodenal Web. Her intestines were partially blocked and she had to have surgery at five days of age. I also had a Placental Abruption in late pregnancy and it was not caught till birth. I have a history of very fast labors, I progress to 5 cm during the last half of my pregnancies and by the time I reach the hospital I am 7 CM. Both my girls were born within an hour to an hour and a half labor. Since I progress so fast I never have had an epidural, there isnt time for them.
I had a sonogram on June 21st and this new baby is measuring a week behind, which is typical of me. So my due date was changed from Jan.17th to Jan.24th, 2012. I go back to the OB doc on July 19th and I will update this thread then. My babies heart rate was 168 bpm on the first sonogram.
