Good news

Hi Ladies—just following up with the results of my second anatomy scan. The US tech at the high risk clinic was able to get almost all of the necessary pics except for a few views of the heart. But all 4 chambers are there and nothing looks weird from what they can see. As for the dilated 3rd ventricle in the brain, they measured and the MFM said it’s right at the high end of normal. If she’d just seen me for the first time without knowing my OB was concerned, she probably wouldn’t have even mentioned it. But since it is the high end of normal and because we need to see all of the heart, I’m going back again on Jan. 17 at 25 weeks. I can stay with my regular OB, and the MFM isn’t concerned and said congratulations. I’m sure I’ll find something to worry about yet, but today is good news. Phew it’s a huge relief!

Aww thanks, Sandy! Always a voice of reason. Someone needs to lock up my phone to keep me away from Google, but I’m trying to trust the MFM this time. Merry Christmas <3 <3
