Informing inlaws

I dreaded today. I dreaded telling my inlaws especially my mother in law. She isnt accepting of being a grandma again. All we got was her being rude and coming out with "Which one of you is getting snipped?" I have never been so offended and hurt in my life. I want to have a big family since that's what I come from. I dont see anything wrong with it.
