It's been a long, long road to get here, but we're feeling pretty confident about this little one. Three and a half years, one IVF, three frozen embryo transfers, and one early miscarriage, and we finally have our first ultrasound tomorrow. It's still early, so we may not see a heartbeat, but since we transferred two embryos this time, they want to see if I'm having one or two. I'm thinking one. Ive felt that way since day one, but I could be wrong.
As far as symptoms go, I'm feeling pretty good overall. Of course I have the tender breasts and I'm more tired than normal, but I feel almost totally normal. The biggest thing I've got going on is stomach issues. I haven't had much nausea, but my digestion is unbelievably slow. I feel full, like really full, for hours. It's uncomfortable. I can eat just a small meal and it sits like a rock in my stomach. Also, I started getting heartburn this weekend. I've had it almost all day today, and now my dinner isn't going down very well.
I am in no way complaining. I will deal with this all nine months of it means I get a healthy baby in the end. I'm just going to have to learn to eat differently while I'm pregnant. It's totally fine. I'm so glad to be here, and can't wait to share this journey with you all!

Comment from dakotagurrl » Posted Nov. 21, 2017 2:05pm So very happy for u! Hopefully most of the yucky symptoms stay away, if not, don't suffer through them. I won't finish that with "speak to ur Dr", it's already bordering a friggin' commercial, as is. Will be watching next Monday for more kickass news from u! xo | |
