12 Weeks!

I've made it! Not that there's any real "safe zone", but if there was one, I've finally made it. I have felt pretty confident about this pregnancy the entire time, so I honesty don't feel much different. I'm just so happy and thankful to finally be expanding our family. I had my last appointment with the fertility clinic on Tuesday, and luckily the baby gave us quite a show. He was in there dancing and moving. I love that Chad got to see that. I've been taken off of all my medications and injections, so that feels really good.

Today I had my 12 week OB appointment and they had a hard time finding baby's heartbeat because he was moving around so much. I haven't gained any of the weight back that I'd lost, so my doctor was very happy with that. I'm currently waiting in the lab to have my blood drawn for my first glucose challenge. The drink wasn't nearly as bad as some have said. I honestly think it tasted like Hawaiian Punch lol.

I have been very very lucky this pregnancy. I have not had any spotting except when I was sick at 6 weeks, I have not had morning sickness, and I feel almost totally normal. I feel very tired in the evenings, but that's about it. I've already started wearing maternity pants because my regular pants were just too tight. Now I can't wait to start feeling this very active baby. I know it'll still be a while though.

We're thinking its a boy. Not sure why, but that's what I feel. Chad thinks it's a boy and I don't think anyone has said they think it's a girl. Kind of strange lol. We'll see in about 8 weeks. Either way we'll be thrilled, but it would truly be a surprise if its a girl.

Congrats! The 12-week mark is usually the moment I stop stressing as much.

Thank you ladies. I still really appreciate the support. It still doesn't feel real a lit of the time.

So happy you've reached this incredible milestone! If it makes you feel any better, I was in maternity pants by 9 weeks for both pregnancies. :) They're just so COMFY!

What a great update! So happy for you guys and glad that things are going well too! I bet you're having a boy...I always deep down had a gut feeling on what the gender of my babies were and I was always right :) Definitely looking forward to the day when you find out!
