My son is an over-achiever already

I had my appointment with MFM yesterday and they were very happy with my health and my pregnancy. There were only 2 concerns that we discussed and they were definitely NOT the ones I anticipated.
1) My mom has SVT (Supraventricular tachycardia) and although I was never formally diagnosed, we believe I have it too. They want me to get an EKG to make sure my ticker is working as it should and we won't have any surprises during delivery.
2) My birth defect: Morgagni Diaphragmatic Hernia. I had the hernia repaired when we found it at age 14. Never did it cross my mind that yes, it is congenital and meatball would be at risk. That was their main concern with meatball.
MFM decided to attempt the Anatomy Scan at 18+3 and swore I'd have to come back to finish it, but nope! Meatball, the over-achiever he is, gave them great views of all his structures. AND he's measuring ahead by 4 days! You go, little man!
The BEST news: we don't have to go back-EVER. Meatball's diaphragm is perfect, his heart is as healthy as can be and my EKG can be done at the local office.
So, aside from still being on anti-nausea meds every day, this pregnancy is going very smoothly. I swore kiddo would look like a messed up alien after I had gone drinking before knowing I was pregnant. I'm so proud of my little guy for growing so well.
