Pretty normal, I guess. Glad that's over. I had trouble remembering how to use the tester properly and had to prick my finger 4x's, haha.
So, we had a baby shower at Axton school yesterday. It was very sweet of Josh's coworkers to give us all that stuff. We're low on funds, so the gift card is especially nice as it will help us out with groceries. They also forced us to accept cake. I feel kinda queasy from having cake for breakfast. Definitely bringing it to work for the D.G. staff today. Anyway, it's clear to see how much Josh's coworkers love him, and how happy they are for us. I'm grateful.
I only wish that I were feeling better. I'm sore all over. My calves hurt especially, and my belly muscles. Baby was quiet most of the day and then kept me up most of the night with hiccups, turns, punches, and squirms. I also was woken up at least twice in the middle of the night with Braxton Hicks squeezing me like a python. I've never peed so many times in one night in my life! The fun part was when Josh woke up, I snuggled up to him to let baby kick him in the back. Take that!
This morning, I'm heading to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned. Also on my radar is calling the health department to schedule a TDAP booster shot at 30 weeks. I know I probably don't need it. But since Josh works with hundreds of kids, whooping cough is a real risk...Actually, maybe I'll use the Walmart gift card to pay for the TDAP at their pharmacy. Hmmm....
