My husband and I are on our way to the hospital - is it too early?

I'm going to be 36 weeks pregnant this weekend but I haven't gone into labor yet. Is is still too early to go to hospital to be prepared to deliver? Or is it the right timing? I'm still so nervous!!!

Some please answer me on here

The baby is doing well and my husband and I are going to go back to the hospital for a checkup to see how the baby is progressing now that I'm 36 weeks pregnant

What did the hospital tell you when you went? I don't know where you are from, maybe they do things differently there. Take care.

Okay, adiggs. I've also been told on Twitter that I should be at the hospital, too, so that's also why I've asked as well.

I would wait and try to let your little one stay in as long as possible. They need all this time to grow. I know everyone says this, but when it is time you will definitely know. And if your doctor feels you've gone too far past your due date, they will induce your labor. You will not be considered really "Full term" until you are 37 weeks, but for a first pregnancy, you could go much longer. With my first, I was over 41 weeks and was then induced. I know the waiting is hard, especially for your first baby and it can also be confusing as you have never been through it before, but it is definitely worth the wait.

I feel like I could have this baby any day now, though

Ah, okay. My husband and I are at the hospital. My water hasn't broken yet.

You don't need to go to the hospital until your water breaks or you have regular contractions that seem like labor.
