Second beta numbers...

I got the results back from the second draw on the 3rd. The first one on the 1st came back at 16,000 and the second one at 23,020. The Dr said that's borderline low, but still within normal. So now I have to go back on Monday for a other draw and another ultrasound to see how things are progressing. I'm really hoping to see more than just the sacs this time. My husband will be out of town all week next week so that sucks. I'll have to do this appt alone. I hope I don't get bad news because I'll have to sit with it all week til he gets back. We aren't telling anyone yet until we know more, so I wont have anyone to talk to about it. :-(

I had to use a different user name to make a new profile so I could still keep the info from the last pregnancy. I was KenpoMommy before.

I know a lot of people are adamant about the numbers doubling but in the past, I have had numbers that didn't quite double but the doctor said the main thing is that the numbers are increasing. Fingers crossed that all goes well for you. Did you use to have a different username on here? I thought your name sounded familiar but your profile says you just joined. Congratulations to you on your babies! :)

I think your numbers look fine and indicate things are most likely going as they should. My doc said once they few h a certain level they look for a rise and not a double. When they took my levels this pregnancy I started at a little over 16000 then two days later I was just a little over 19000 and I am now over 15 weeks pregnant. Good luck Monday

That's what I thought, based on what I've read, eespeciallyfor twins. She did say that it's still within the normal range, just at the low end. What I'm really waiting for is the ultrasound on Monday. I think I was about 5 weeks at the last one, back on wed, so I "should" see something more by then. Hopefully...

I feel like your numbers are well within range?? Anything over 6000 has a greater than 96 hour doubling window? And if your results are 48 hours apart you're at 91ish hours, so even faster than expected. I'll be thinking about you on Monday!!
