Blood work update

So whoever was giving me the results of my blood tests at my drs office must be completely fucking illiterate because the dr called me to tell me the results of the third draw today and I was totally confused. I was originally told the the first and second draw were 16,000 and 23,020. But today she told me the the third draw was 2,813. I was like, wait a minute, what?? So she cleared it up and I'm not happy! Needless to say, my levels are not going up the way they're supposed to and they weren't high to begin with. So this pregnancy, that we originally thought was twins, isn't, and probably isn't even viable at all.
I don't even know how to feel. I've gone from shocked that I was even pregnant at all, to thinking we were having twins, to now thinking that it isn't going to happen at all. I can't even get a hold of my husband to talk to him because he's away for the week on a camping trip. This sucks!

 | Comment from calvingirl » Posted Aug. 8, 2018 8:04pm Ugh! That's so stressful! On the plus side, for a singleton, numbers in the 2000s isn't bad for 5 wks. It was unusual to have such high numbers so early, so I can see why they were looking at twins. Hopefully it'll shoot up now. Crossing fingers for you! |
