Not sure how to feel....results in the am...

Well today went for 39 week check up, and my Dr said blood platelets were low last time so she took more blood and said for me to call in for results in the am...if stilll low I will be sent to give birth 2Morrow...I am excited to meet my precious baby boy...but also how will this effect my birth plans....I know epidural may be an issue now...plz feel free to let me in on anything you know about low platelets...I will keep everyone posted!

In looking around there are references to pre-eclampsia... but everything I am seeing is very vague. Just know that your birth plan has to be fluid and be willing to change it to what is going to be best for your health and the baby. I didn't want to be stuck in bed for mine, and due to my IV I had to be stuck there. In the end it was what was best for both of us, and you never know... a change to the plan might make your experience better. *HUGS* Good luck!
