On June 16, 2012 at 26 weeks 6 days pregnant
3 Hour Glucose Test
I failed my first 1 hour glucose test with a blood sugar of 149. So I had to go in the following Saturday and do a 3 hour version. No eating or drinking after midnight the night before. I was starving, and thirsty by the time we got there! The drink was warm, orange and twice as sweet as the first test. It had 100 grams of sugar in a 10oz bottle! I finally got it down and had to be pricked 30 min, 30 min, 1 hour and 1 hour later. 5 pokes all together including the first one before the test started. When it was over Nathan took me to Shoneys breakfast bar, and I ate and ate and ate!! Luckily the test came back normal, so that was a relief!!

Prental Tests: Glucose Challenge Test
So glad I chose to drink the fruit punch kind! It tasted like Jungle Juice, had to drink it in 5 minutes and wait for blood to be drawn in an hour

Bought Baby's First Outfit
My friend Danielle had her baby shower for baby Austin on this morning, and me and 2 of my other friends Amanda and Courtney went to a boutique after the shower just to "look"....well Courtney bought Braelyns first "new" outfit, she has a ton of clothes already, but they are consignment sales, yard sales, given to me. Nothing new! So her first NEW outfit was bought by Courtney and its a white dress, with ribbons on the shoulders, with a white bow to go with it!
I have NO idea how I havent bought her clothes (new) yet..but somehow I have done really good with not spending like crazy!

Started Wearing Maternity Clothes
Gave in and got out my old maternity jeans from my pregnancy with Nolan....since then I have also bought some shorts, and a couple tops.

Found Out Baby's Gender
Could not wait to find out, and not thinking I scheduled the appointment for 330pm! I didnt get a thing done at work! As soon as hubby pulled in the drive way I jumped in the truck and talked 100mph the whole way, I was so excited! We had to end up doing a transvaginal scan because baby had her legs crossed and wasnt budging! As soon as she started the transvaginal one, there it was! A GIRL! BRAELYN SADIE
My grandmothers name was Sadie, and Braelyn, so her and I have the same initals, like my son and Hubby!

Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
I have felt a few "flutters" but now baby is really moving around! Especially if I am sitting or laying down. Hubby always kisses my belly before bed and last night baby kissed/kicked right when he did. It was so cute and he was so happy it moved for him!

Husband/Partner Felt Baby Move for the First Time
Same day I could feel the actual kicks he kissed my belly for bed, and he/she kicked right when he kissed it! Baby was telling Daddy goodnight!

Announced Baby's Gender to Family
We had planned on getting our family Easter eggs as it was 4 days before Easter, and filling them with either pink/blue confetti, hair bows/cars....but once they said GIRL for sure....we didnt make it out of the parking lot before calling our moms!

Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
We didnt expect to hear the heartbeat yet, I only thought we would be able to see it. But we got to hear it, record it and see it flashing on the screen. Such an amazing moment! 158 bpm!! Grow baby grow!

Announced Pregnancy to Family
We announced that we were expecting again with our two year old wearing a shirt that said BIG BROTHER on it. It was great and everyone was super excited!

First Positive Pregnancy Test
I was only 8 dpo and couldnt stand to wait, so I tested at almost 7 pm and got a positive very fast!
