Felt baby hiccups for the first time
I had been waiting to feel baby hiccuping for litterally WEEKS, and nothing. I'm thinking it might have to do with my anterior placenta? Anyway, I had sort of given up when FINALLY, while watching TV, I started feeling the regular movement of hiccups!

Baby confirmed head down!
I was awake in the middle of the night the previous week and suddenly felt a HUGE movement in my belly. I was actually certain for a little while that baby had just strangled himself with the cord! When it became clear he had not, I started wondering if he might just have turned head down! Sure enough, in the following days I noticed kicking in my ribs and no more kicking in my bladder.... Today my doctor confirmed she felt the head down low!

I was ordering baby clothing online with a friend and we were missing just over 3$ to get free shipping. That's when she suggested I buy something for baby-to-be! I quickly consulted my boyfriend and we ended up buying a cute little romper.

Announced Baby's Gender to Family
Maybe not to family, but to my Mom. She called on Saturday night to ask about the ultrasound and what gender the baby was.
We also spoke to my MIL, but she didn't ask what the gender was and we didn't tell her. We spoke to my FIL over the weekend as well and my boyfriend said he'd rather we wait until after the MRI to announce the gender...

Husband/Partner Felt Baby Move for the First Time
I had been able to feel baby's kicks from the outside for about a week, but baby seemed to quiet down as soon as my boyfriend was around. (Which is something I'll remember when he's born!!!) That night we were watching TV and I put my boyfriend's hand on my belly, just in case, because baby had been quite active just a few minutes before. And when baby kicked - my boyfriend felt it!

Found Out Baby's Gender
I was convinced it was a girl, and during the ultrasound I kept looking to see if I could see boy bits... and suddenly I did!!! I exclaimed "Hey, that's a baby boy!" and the tech said "Yes, I think so!".

Announced Pregnancy to Family
We sent family photos to the members of our families by email... the last one was split in four and showed my boyfriend's shoes with his birthdate underneath, my shoes with my birthdate underneath, our son's shoes with his birthday underneath, and then baby's shoes with my EDD underneath.
Funnily enough, my sister-in-law was the only one to get it immediately. My mother-in-law had to be told to look carefully at the last pic, and my Mom actually had to be told clearly that she was going to have another grandchild!

My current weight is only two pounds more than my starting weight when I got pregnant with my son.... but my bump is so big, my pants definitely aren't comfortable anymore!

Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
I was on the bus and felt a sudden throbbing in my stomach. I wasn't sure it was baby, but the following days I got that bubbles feeling down low, and some more throbbing. How exciting!

First Ultrasound
We had the NT scan. I was terribly nervous, but one of the first things the tech said was "There's the top of baby's head. We can see the ventricles, and they're normal." Of course it doesn't mean everything else was fine, but it's a start.
Baby was 6.5 cm and heartbeat was 156.

Wore bella band for the first time
So I've gained only 2pounds, but I look like I'm 3 or 4 months pregnant! The dress pants I wear for work still fit fine, but my jeans, not so much. So I gave up and went for the bella band over the weekend.

Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
I bought a doppler when I was 12 weeks pregnant with my son, so as to keep sane until I could feel him move. This time around, being the paranoid person I am, I couldn't bring myself to leave the poor doppler in its box until 12 weeks. So although I knew I stood very slim chances of catching the heartbeat, I figured I'd try. (I had already tried at 7 weeks with no luck.) After a few minutes, lo and behold! There it was, that chugging train heartbeat sound! I rushed to the bathroom where my boyfriend was shaving so he could hear it too!

Told My Boss About My Pregnancy
I was meeting my boss for my mid-year review, although I had only returned to work after mat leave two weeks before. At the end of our meeting she asked if there was anything I wanted to mention so I said that I was pregnant again! She burst out laughing and exclaimed: "I knew it! I told everyone you'd come back and be pregnant already!"

First Positive Pregnancy Test
From 3DPO I had cramps and was certain I was pregnant. I tested at 6 DPO and obviously got a BFN. I wanted to wait 10 DPO and test with FMU, but I couldn't keep myself from testing in the afternoon of 9 DPO. It was a faint line, but it was a line!

Told Husband/Partner
After seeing the BFP in the bathroom, I went downstairs where my boyfriend was playing with E, our 13-month-old. E was sick and had refused to sleep the previous night and during the day, so he was in a dreadful mood. So I walked into the living room and told my boyfriend: "You know what the bad news is? We're getting another one like this one."
