Went in thinking I would receive bad news....but all looks great. Placement is good, no clotting/bleeding, sac size is right on and there was a little heartbeat flicker.

Met with my new midwife and doctor! Really like this new practice! Felt comfortable and well-taken care of while I was there.

First Positive Pregnancy Test
I had been spotting a little a few days prior, so I thought for sure I would get my period full force over that weekend. Sunday afternoon I had finally had the idea that I should probably go and buy and pregnancy test....seeing I was not spotting or bleeding at all like I should be (if I was going to get my period). Drove to CVS, stared at the HPTs for about 5 minutes, picked up a digital test....drove home and waited about 3 hours to pee. I pretty much figured the screen would shout "Not Pregnant" back at me since we had had so much stress that month between our dog being diagnosed with cancer and I had some minor surgery that caused some discomfort. Wasn't paying much attention to my cycle...So....I took the test....set it on the counter and wham, "Pregnant" glared back at me a minute later. Ran out to show hubby....we are still in shock....we weren't trying nearly as hard as we did in the past. Go figure!
