On July 3, 2011 at 14 weeks 1 day pregnant
Started Wearing Maternity Clothes
I had already started to grow out of a good number of my regular clothes and was headed down to pennsylvania to visit family. I decided to wear my first maternity outfit so Id be more comfortable and my belly wouldnt be as obvious since I had not told most of that side of the family.
On June 29, 2011 at 13 weeks 4 days pregnant
Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
After my ultrasound in the doctors office, I was scheduled for a more detailed ultrasound at the hospital to see if they could figure out what had caused me to start bleeding like I had been. During the ultrasound we got to hear the heart beat, it was 147 bpm and I was excited to really get a good look at the baby and hear that everything looked great. On June 27, 2011 at 13 weeks 2 days pregnant
First Ultrasound
I was having some spotting and the doctor had trouble finding the baby's heartbeat on doppler so she did a quick ultrasound to check on baby. We saw the heartbeat and figured out that she was having such a hard time with the doppler because the baby was moving like crazy.
On June 16, 2011 at 11 weeks 5 days pregnant
Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
felt the first little flutter that I knew wasnt just gas
On June 15, 2011 at 11 weeks 4 days pregnant
First Prenatal Appointment
finally got in to see the nurse practicioner and confirmed pregnancy plus had some blood work done
On June 6, 2011 at 10 weeks 2 days pregnant
Announced Pregnancy to Family
I posted a belly picture along with a status message on facebook and let everyone find out that way
On June 1, 2011 at 9 weeks 4 days pregnant
Told Husband/Partner
He was away for Army training and I couldn't get ahold of him the day before. When I talked to him that morning I answered my phone with "baby! guess what? Im pregnant!"
On May 31, 2011 at 9 weeks 3 days pregnant
First Positive Pregnancy Test
I had taken a test when I first missed my period in april but could not tell if it was positive or negactive. My soon to be ex husband hid all my home tests for me and told me to wait a month. When I tested again and it was definitely positive.
