We had an 18 week ultrasound and we found out that our home will be blessed with another little girl running around :) Big sister is so excited! The whole family couldn't be any happier.

Told My Boss About My Pregnancy
I was very nervous to tell my bosses, because around the time I am due we have a lot going on and corporate has requested that we all try to avoid taking vacations around that time....and as a supervisor my team will need me. It went a lot better than I thought, which is how things usually go. My boss was happy for me and my co-workers are ECSTATIC! :)

We surprised Grandpa! Trista got to color a shirt that said "Big Sister October 2013" and had grandpa help her take off her jacket so he would see it right away.

First Positive Pregnancy Test
While away for a business meeting yesterday I was due for my period. During the meeting I kept expecting that the next time I'd visit the bathroom that my period would start. As the day progressed my period still did not arrive. I did not get home until the early hours of the morning today, January 24th. When I woke up I figured that since technically I was now 1 day late it would be okay to take a pregnancy test. We have been trying since Spring of 2012 and I am notorious for peeing on a stick to no avail, I figured this morning would be no different. When I first saw that second line appear I could not believe it. My boyfriend had no idea what I was doing as he was outside shoveling the driveway, so when he came inside I lured him into the bathroom and surprised him with the test. He saw the 2nd line right away. We are both still in shock but so very excited. This will be my 2nd child and his first :)
