Tested Negative! Woooo!!! If only I was having the VBAC I wanted. Then it would be even more exciting.

Picked a Name
We've got it down to 2 girl names that we'll make the final decision about when she actually arrives. Whew... finally

Prental Tests: Glucose Challenge Test
Had to drink that wonderful orange goo. I don't go over the results with my doc until Monday, but I got the results online and I passed! Wooooo! I wasn't too worried since I know my blood sugar has actually been on the low side this pregnancy, but there was still just the slightest amount of worry since I failed with Ava. As Trevor put it, "one more check in the box". So far so good. Everything has gone perfectly. All we need to do now is figure out a name....

Husband/Partner Felt Baby Move for the First Time
Trevor came home to visit and finally got to feel this little girl kicking around in my belly. He felt her jump/bump and said, "wow that shook your whole belly". Not quite what he was expecting. He was expecting more of the alien movement. I told him he'd get that when he was home in December. So excited he finally got to feel it though. He's been feeling the baby move alot at night while I'm sleeping.

We found out 100% that it's a girl! Now to the task of agreeing on a name

Nana felt baby kick
Baby has been kicking and punching a lot for the last couple days and I was sitting on the couch at my mom's talking about it. She hopped up and started pushing and wiggling my stomach and sure enough, baby deided to fight back a little bit. :)

Felt baby on the outside for the first time
I was hanging out at Shawna's after Riley's birthday party and I could feel our little one wiggling around in there. Out of habit, I placed my hand on my stomach and at just that moment got a nice little kick. Soooo exciting! I can't believe it's happening this early. I can't wait until it becomes a regular thing. Ava is super excited to be able to start feeling baby move around in there.

We THINK it's a GIRL
I went in for my anomaly scan at 19 weeks. It was the longest scan ever! Baby would not hold still to let the tech get the measurements she needed. LOL but of course even with all that movement those little legs were closed up as tight as possible and crossed the whole time. I moved from side to side got poked, prodded, and shaken. Still no luck. The tech went with girl simply because we didn't see anything else with all the moving, but definitely wasn't going to give us a guarantee. Maybe this baby will end up being a surprise just like Ava. :) Hey at least I tried.

Ava's first brutally Honest Moment
I got up this morning and put on one of my new pairs of motherhood maternity leggings. They're great and they have the full panel that goes all the way up over my belly. Anyway, Ava sees me and says, "your tummy is getting really big." "yeah, there's a baby growing in there." "It kind of looks like your butt is in the front now"....thanks Ava. Lol unfiltered commentary about how you look first thing in the morning. Aren't kids great?

Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
I broke down and bought a fetal doppler off of ebay because I'm almost 16 weeks and while I have SEEN the heartbeat, I have yet to HEAR it. Until tonight that is. I got the doppler and that very night decided I had to use it. While Ava was taking her nightly shower I pulled it out and started searching. It took me a few minutes, but I finally found it! Trevor was on the phone so he got to hear it too! I didn't cry like I was expecting to, but it made me so happy to finally hear it. When Ava got out of the shower I had her listen too. She was super excited. We of course then had to listen to my heart and Ava's heart. She loves the new toy, I'm sure we'll be using it on a semi regular basis

Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
I've been 95% positive of movement from about 11 weeks, but since everyone kept telling me I was crazy I kept telling myself I was imagining things. Well.. Wednesday our little one decided to throw a full blown dance party. :) It felt like exactly what I've been feeling for weeks, but much stronger and more frequent. So even though I felt things much earlier I'm putting this date because our little one let me know for sure it was he or she bouncing around in there.

Daddy saw baby for the first time
I went in for my appt at 13 weeks while Trevor was home on leave and the Dr couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler. So, she went and grabbed the ultrasound. We got to see our little bean jumping around. It was wonderful!

Started Wearing Maternity Clothes
I could not find ANYTHING even remotely comfortable in the morning before work. I was so thankful Shawna had lent me some of her maternity clothes. The pants especially saved this day.

Tiffany bought a cute little vibrating seat for the baby and gave it to us at the girl's party

Started having Round ligament pains
Fun Fun FUN :) At least I know the little fruit is growing

I think I felt the baby move
I know it's really early, but a few times during the last week I've felt the little flutters. I can't wait for the baby to get bigger so I won't have to second guess anymore.

Went in for u/s to determine due date and first checkup with new ob/gyn

We got to see the little jelly beans heartbeat! 150bpm. My mom recorded everything for Trevor and now everyone on facebook knows too :)

Technically I told him on the seventeenth, but he misread the text in the middle of the night and thought there was only one line. He didn't pay enough attention until the next morning to find out he was going to be a dad

First Positive Pregnancy Test
No sleeping all night because I could just tell I was pregnant. I finally took the test at 2 am. There was a faint second line, but it was definitely there. I sent Trevor a picture and told him it was positive.
