First Positive Pregnancy Test
I got up this morning at 5:30am to take my temp as usual. Yesterday, at 8DPO, I had a severe drop in temperature. I was hoping it was an implantation dip, but trying not to get my hopes up since I was sick for the last week so I honestly didn't trust my temps all that much. After I took my temp I got up to pee. At 9DPO I didn't want to waste a FRER since I figured it was still too early, so I used one of the cheapies, put it in my drawer and went back to sleep. When I got up for work at 8am, I went to brush my teeth and remembered my cheapie in the drawer. I was about to throw it away when I looked again and swore I saw a second line - almost like a shadow. I stood there for a second in shock, and then ripped out a FRER to pee on immediately! Within 2 minutes, my second line started showing up!!! I always tried to imagine how I would feel when getting a positive, but nothing I imagined came close to how it really felt. I sat down on my bathroom floor and cried the happiest tears ever.
