Contractions started at 4am, checked into the hospital at 7:15am and Thea arrived at 8:47am! No time for meds. at first I was nervous about passing out like I did with my son, but she came so fast and I feel great! We are both much more alert than my first birthing experience. Not saying I won't ask for meds if we have a another, but it's definitely something to consider.

Found Out Baby's Gender
Well, we're having a girl. I have to admit that I suspected a girl, but was still a bit shocked to have it confirmed. We were not the only ones surprised by the news, I guess we all just figured it'd be another boy. Of course we are happy! What a silly question. Are we ready for the on slaught of pink and purple? No, but we'll adjust.

First Ultrasound
First trimester ultrasound, everything looks good and measures on time. Blood work results in 5 business days, will call either way.
Natalie and Miles really enjoyed seeing the baby. Baby was a bit uncooperative, took awhile to get all the images. Was sticking its tounge out at us.
