Installed Car Seat
Finally got around to installing the car seat!!

Prental Tests: Group B Strep Test (GBS)
GBS negative, thankfully.

Baby Shower
Had a baby shower via Skype, with a Harry Potter theme. My mom worked really hard to make it amazing.

Baby Dropped
I was nearing the end of my 33rd week when I distinctly felt the baby move down. I thought it could be my imagination, since I'm a FTM, but I sent a photo of my bump to my mom and sister the next day and they both commented on it.

Found Out Baby's Gender
Had an anatomy scan at 19w2d. To our GREAT surprise, it's a boy! We were SURE it was a girl. Everyone thought so -- my whole family, plus Kevin dreamed it, plus my HCG was very high and baby's heartbeat was high. Nope. Boy. Now we have to go back to the drawing board on names. Wow...

Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
Not sure of the date, but I started feeling little sensations around 16 weeks that I wasn't sure of. Then at 18 weeks on the dot, I DEFINITELY felt a kick, and I've been feeling it since.

Started Wearing Maternity Clothes
It was about 15 weeks when I could no longer wear my jeans without a belly belt. A week later and I had a definite bump which wasn't fitting my normal shirts anymore!

Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
The midwife allowed me to hear the heartbeat on Doppler during an otherwise crappy appointment. It nearly brought me to tears. They say it sounds like horses galloping but my baby's heartbeat didn't. It just sounded like a very fast heartbeat (at 170 bpm!), like a nervous heartbeat, and it was so strong. She couldn't find it for a long time, but baby turned out to be on my left side near my hip.

Told My Boss About My Pregnancy
Told Greg about my pregnancy today, then announced it on FB. He was totally, completely cool, and said we will find a way to make it work in the Spring.

First Prenatal Appointment
Visited Rebecca Dworkin (midwife) for the first time. Mostly a lot of family history and urine/blood tests. She put me on pelvic rest for the bleeding I had had and forbid me from doing any strenuous exercise, all until the end of the first trimester.

On July 11, 2014 at 6 weeks 3 days pregnant
First Ultrasound
Actually, first ultrasound was around 2 am on July 10th, in the hospital for some bleeding. They said it might be two babies and that we might lose them to the bleeding. Also said baby's HR was 153 (what?!). But had a legit ultrasound as scheduled on the 11th, and baby was fine, a singleton, with a HR of 118 and only a minor bleed.

First Positive Pregnancy Test
I was 9dpo when I got my first clear faint pink line. Actually, at 8dpo, I took two tests that both showed the faintest shadow of something -- I counted them as BFNs, but tweakers on BC said they could see a FPL when tweaked. So maybe my first positive was 6/18, not 6/19. At any rate, the first one I could see for sure was on 6/19, and even then it was barely visible in a photograph. I have tested at 8dpo, 9dpo, 10dpo, 11dpo, and 12dpo, and gotten stronger and stronger lines!

Told Husband/Partner
I told Kevin about my BFP when he came home from work that day. He was amazed. I think we are both holding back from celebrating too much until we see a heartbeat though.

First Pregnancy-Related Dream
The night before 8dpo I dreamt that I was 8dpo and I took a test and it was positive. Kevin was folding laundry and I showed him the test and he was really pleased. Right before I woke up, I was pondering how to warn him that it might be multiples since we got such an early positive. It was a very clear dream. That is why I decided to test so early on (tested that day, 8dpo). My test wasn't clear like in the dream, but tweakers said they could see something. I am not counting it as my first positive, but really, technically it was.
