Husband/Partner Felt Baby Move for the First Time
Baby has been kicking harder....he rested his hand on my belly not expecting to feel anything and all of a sudden he said "was that something" I didn't tell him the baby moved because I figured it was too small a movement to feel, so I know he really felt baby Darren! It was so exciting!

Announced Baby's Gender to Family

Went to TJ Max and bought a cute little blue stripped train outfit with a beanie!

Picked a Name
Darren Frederick after our dear friend who passed in an avalanche and Frederick is Josh's grand father who was his father figure growing up. Darren means "little great one"

Found Out Baby's Gender
The doctor found out the gender right away and it was very clear what we were having, a boy!!!! We knew it!

Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
Felt like little bubbles popping in my lower abdomen, wasn't sure what I was feeling but the next few days I felt it again and now I feel it every night. When I eat chocolate he really moves!

First Ultrasound
Not sure if the trans-vaginal is considered first ultra sound or not...but I was so happy! Saw the little sac and he said it's measuring just right for 5 weeks! I got to see it on the screen and it was amazing....just a little sac but confirmed there was something going on in there. Yaaaay

First Positive Pregnancy Test
I thought I had anovulation cycle so I wasn't symptom tracking and thought I had a "break" so I exercised and just lived my life for me not TTC. I missed my period by 2 days and still FELT like AF was coming. I decided to take a test and I almost didn't even record it knowing it would be bfn.....but I grabbed my camera real quick and it was DYING but I still got the bfp on there and my surprised reaction! Told Husband/Partner
I wanted something special but I just don't do well with surprises. I just handed him the stick and smiled and said "guess what?!"
