First Prenatal Appointment
We spoke with a Midwife who answered our questions. She gave us a folder of information pertaining to diet and various prenatal testing. The Midwife, Rebecca, used the doppler and we heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time. She conducted a pelvic exam to feel the dimensions of my pelvic floor. She said that I was narrow on top toward my cervix but that my pelvic floor opened up after that. We signed up for the centering pregnancy group prenatal care.
