Baby Shower
An absolutely amazing night filled with family and friends! They are all so generous. It was a great turnout. The house looked amazing, the food turned out great, and my best friend made amazing cupcakes.

Husband/Partner Felt Baby Move for the First Time

Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
I was sitting at work when Baby J shifted from the left side of my uterus all the way across to the right. It was very slow and a long process, and as soon as he/she stopped... my bladder felt instantly full and I couldn't stand up. I had to pee so bad! I thought for sure I'd have an accident. And there was a customer waiting for me to make matters worse!

On July 10, 2015 at 12 weeks 2 days pregnant
Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
I had to go to an appointment for a UTI, so I was by myself and they used the Doppler for the first time. Baby's heart rate was 164!

On June 10, 2015 at 8 weeks 0 days pregnant
First Prenatal Appointment
Everything went great! No issues with Mommy or baby at all other than having to be on blood thinners.

First Ultrasound
Saw baby J immediately, and the heartbeat was 161. Perfect! Daddy made all kinds of "awww" sounds during the ultrasound. Very sweet!

Told My Boss About My Pregnancy
Told boss right away! We're buds!

Announced Pregnancy to Family
We got our BFP on Mother's Day, so we told our immediate family while visiting them on Mother's Day!

Told Husband/Partner
I had a very faint line when we got our first positive test, so I woke him up to take a look. I thought I was going crazy! So he found out right away.

I now know of two people in my town that have lost babies at 5 months pregnant due to complications caused by past LEEP procedures. But still hoping for the best!!! Congrats on your bfp!!
