Packed for the Hospital/Birth Center
have just re packed my hospital bags so that they are ready to go when baby arrives! =)

On February 9, 2013 at 30 weeks 1 day pregnant
Went on Babymoon
We went to Leicester to watch the Tigers play London Welsh for my birthday and we won! Scotland also played Italy and we won that too! and Neil and i had a lovely romantic meal at bella italia and baby loved it as there was a lot of wriggling and kicking!

On November 27, 2012 at 19 weeks 4 days pregnant
Found Out Baby's Gender
the day after neils birthday we went for our 20 week scan and we were keen to find out what we were having. I'll be honest i was pretty convinced that we were having a baby boy as all i wanted to look at was boys clothes and from all the midwives tales i was having a boy. We got to the hospital and we were so very nervous. i just had the fear that they would tell me that my baby was dead and i was hacving another miscarriage. the sonographer told me how it worked. that she would listen for the heartbeat and reassure us that it was there and good which she did very quickly. then she got down to it and checked the baby to make sure everything was where it should be and at the right size. she asked at the end if there was anything i wanted to ask and we asked what we were having and were told it was a little girl. I was a bit shocked but i think i thought that would be the answer as i had been telling myself that a girl would be good. nail varnish and hair do's etc.

Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
I was 17 +5 days when i felt my baby move. it was a very odd. i suffer with ibs so sometimes it felt like i was having an ibs attack but with no actual happening of the attack. i felt what i described to my friend as "twinges" and "muscle spasms" my friend said "that's yer baby!" i kept it to myself for a few days and just enjoyed it myself then told neil and let him have a feel. he was a little bit grossed out i think but he liked feeling his daughter move! they've been getting stronger and more frequent now as the weeks have passed and neil enjoys feeling her move. x

On October 10, 2012 at 12 weeks 5 days pregnant
First Ultrasound
We went for our scan at 12 weeks. I was bricking it to say the least. i was as cool as a cucumber until we sat in the waiting room. I just kept thinking about last time we were in the room having our scan and being told that we were having a missed miscarriage and i furiously prayed that it wouldn't be the same again.

As i lay on the bed i was pleasantly surprised as the sonographer was a) able to use the external wand thingy-ma-bob instead of the awful awful internal wand thingy! which was GREAT! and b) our baby was kicking and twitching and lying the wrong way for the NT. c) we found out that we were 13 +1 not 12!!!

Big sigh of relief from mummy and daddy to be Foulger as baby looks healthy and happy and they left with TWO great ultra sound scan pictures which EVERYONE has said they are really clear and detailed!

On August 13, 2012 at 4 weeks 3 days pregnant
First Positive Pregnancy Test
I think i knew subconciously that i was pregnant. I had seen the spotting and felt the cramps but with my cycle being as it is, the cramps is nothing new and i could pass the spotting off as wishful thinking! Neil said no to buying a pregnancy test before the day my period was due. So we bought some tescos pregnancy tests and i used them first thing monday morning and wanted neil to see the results before me. I wanted him to have that news first. Andrea our neighbour knocked on for me so i put the test on the table and had a chat with andrea. Neil brough the test through once i'd finished my breakfast and he said that i would have to use the other test as this one looked like it was broken and i said why? and he said cos it says you're pregnant! x
