On December 28, 2011 at 6 weeks 3 days pregnant
Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
Today was the both the first ultrasound and first heartbeat. The ultrasound technician wasn't sure if we would be able to hear it. I had to have a transvaginal ultrasound because I have a tilted uterus and my bladder wasn't full enough. But after a little adjustment she was able to have a heartbeat. Strong and constant and beautiful.

On December 24, 2011 at 5 weeks 6 days pregnant
Announced Pregnancy to Family
The family was told over Christmas. First my mom was told on the 23rd by a picture which read "Congrats your gonna be a Nana"
Then hubbies mom was told on the 24th via the same picture but it said again since she already has a grandson. Everyone was very excited and happy and can't wait. My mom is already looking for things to buy me!

On December 8, 2011 at 3 weeks 4 days pregnant
First Positive Pregnancy Test
Woke up in the morning with this urge to take a test... Still expecting it to be negative I walked alway for a min to finish getting ready for work and came back to two lines... Considering the second line was significantly strong having been 3 to 6 days away from my next expected AF... I was in shock... And it took me until I got home that day and did another two tests to really believe it was true

	Comment from sageviolet » Posted Jan. 18, 2012 7:14am Hey, I also started out short and lightweight! I've gained maybe 1 lb. or 2 but it could be just water fluctuations. My symptoms seem to be changing and easing up, too, but I know the placenta is supposed to start taking over now and ease the nausea. I actually felt a little more energetic than usual yesterday.
