Went Into Labour
My water broke at about 9:45, 5 weeks early! I just hit 35 weeks yesterday and even though I was expecting this baby to be early like my other two, I wasn't expecting 5 weeks early. We didn't have anything ready so we were scrambling to pack bags and get it all together. But we go to the hospital and now here we sit, waiting for things to progress to pushing.

Baby Shower
Baby shower was a success, despite poor planning on my hosts part. There are still a lot of things I need to get from my baby registries. Not much was gotten off the list by guests because my hosts didn't bother to tell anyone where I was registered. But a lot of people came and we had fun. Now to wash and organize everything....

Prental Tests: Glucose Challenge Test
I had to do the 2 hour fasting test today. I was a little worried I would have trouble getting through it because of the stomach problems I've been having this time, but I made it. I'll get the results on Friday at my next appointment. But I've never failed one yet, so I think it will be fine.

Started planning the baby shower!
Two of my good friends took me to lunch today to tell me they want to plan my shower for me. I was very touched because I was starting to think no one was going to offer. I've had a falling out with the woman who did it last time and I was starting to think no one else cared enough. They are awesome!

Started Wearing Maternity Clothes
I think I started wearing my maternity jeans exclusively about a week ago. I had worn them occasionally before this, on really bloated days, but now i can't fit into my regular jeans at all anymore! Not wearing any maternity tops yet, just bottoms.

Husband/Partner Felt Baby Move for the First Time
I just sort of had to pick a date for this one, as we weren't really sure if what he was feeling was the baby or not. But just recently, he has, for sure been feeling baby movements! He's very excited... lol

Found Out Baby's Gender
We had the 3D ultrasound done and found out we are having our third boy! On August 12, 2013 at 16 weeks 4 days pregnant
Picked a Name
Now that we know we're having a boy, we have decided to go with the name Ronen. In Hebrew, it means "joyful song".

Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
I felt a little tapping sensation about 3 inches below my belly button that was definitely not gas! Dh and i were sitting in the emergency vet hospital with our injured cat, waiting for the vet when i felt it. Lol

First Prenatal Appointment
First appointment today at 8 weeks, 1 day. Went fine, doctor opted to not do as many of the typical tests because I just had them done a few months ago when I was pregnant last time. Nice to not have to get poked so much this time around... He scheduled me for another u/s early next week because of some ovarian pain I've been having so we'll get another look at the baby too.

Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
Found the heart beat myself with my home Doppler at 7weeks 5 days. It took a while, but I finally found it! According go my diaper, it was a good 145bpm. Amazing how much faster than my own it sounds. Very reassuring after our prior losses!
