On December 6, 2012 at 40 weeks 0 days pregnant
Got induced
Had to be at the hospital at 6am. Dr broke my water at 8:30am. Contractions started getting intense after that...got spinal block at 10:30am (was supposed to have epi but stupid person was training and screwed up). That lasted maybe 2 hours, then every 15 to 20 mins after that they had to keep rigging me up with more numbing pain meds...dr was even by my side while I was pushing getting ready to put more in my IV just incase it wore off while pushing. Anyways, by 5:23pm I was 10 centimeters and nurse told me I was ready to push!! Jeff held one leg and the nurse held the other, I grabbed onto my thighs and pushed pushed pushed till 6:15pm when I finally heard my baby girl cry!! I exploded with emotions at that very second, bawling my eyes out and my body started shaking uncontrollably! The love I felt for my baby girl at that very second with without a doubt tr most intense feeling I have ever felt, and it's done nothing but get stronger with every passing day!!!!

Started weekly appts!!
Been having pressure and lots of pain in my groin area. Dr decided to check me and see if I've started dilating. Turns out I am 1.5cen, 70% effaced and baby is at -1 station!! Happy 37 weeks to me!

Painted baby's nursery!!
Painted baby's room 2 different shades of purple! Have one wall a darker purple and the other 3 walls a light purple! Also restored a bookshelf, has ABCD letters going down both sides, I painted over the letters with the light purple and then I'm going to put butterfly decals on each of the letters. And then I also restored a little shelf that needed a lot of TLC! Painted it both shades of purple, and once again I'll be putting the butterfly decals on it! Cant wait to have the whole room done!

Thought drink was going to be unbearable, but turned out to not be THAT bad! I passed the test, also found out I'm not anemic and my blood type is O+

Started feeling baby girls hiccups!
Was sitting on the couch watching a little tv and I notice little movements lower in my belly, put my hand against my stomach to feel then but they were to light to feel, and I realized they came about 2 to 3 seconds apart each time, so I chalked it up to being baby hiccups! Was soo cute! I have experienced them about 4 times since that evening!!

It's pretty funny actually! His mom and I were sitting on one couch and my boyfriend was sitting on the other and I for sum reason just looked up at him and he started smiling and it made me laugh...ok first off j have been telling my Bf that we need to tell his mom in person and now while she is here cuz she lives in st Louis Missouri....so anywho..e made me laugh a nervous kind of laugh and his mom was like what..was it something I said..I said no.but couldn't stop laughing..she the goes I have a feeling that you guys wanna tell me something! I didn't say anything..an she goes..are you pregnant? And I'm speechless and can't look at her..so jeff takes the floor ad says yes we are..we know we aren't married but we were trying anyways!! I got a congrats and a hug from his mom..and we swore her to secrecy till mothers day when we tell everyone else the happy news!!!

Bought Baby's First Outfit
Have been resisting the urge to buy since the day I found out I was pregnant! But my good friend told me that I should start buying now so I'm not spending alot at the end of the pregnancy! So I bougt little bear booties, a girl outfit and a boy outfit..keep the appropriate outfit and nbd someone that can use the other outfit!

First Positive Pregnancy Test
Well for the past few days I have been feeling af cramps and I was so sure af was going to show and I would be out another month. Well I woke up this morning and my nipples were so sore I wanted to scream..also my breasts have been externally sore this whole cycle..not that normal! Well I decided ok I guess I'll take a test thisorning since I haven't taken one yet. 16dpo btw! I went to the bathroom and wiped before I peed in the cup cuz I wanted to make sure there was no blood! After I took the test..I went to washy hands and I turned around and walked back to the toilet totally expecting the words NOT PREGNANT to be there..well they weren't..just the one simple word that I have been longing for PREGNANT!!!!! I am still in shock!! But can't wait to tell my boyfriend!!!
