DRS APPT, truly a kodak moment
The hubby and i went to drs yesterday, the glucose tolerance test came back normal THANK HEAVENS!! but he got to hear the heartbeat (he hasnt heard it since august when we found out gender) she's gotten so big since then...and when the dr found the heartbeat his eyes lit up....so amazing...i had the dr tell him its OK TO PRESS TO FEEL HER, he said im afraid of hurting her dr said your a mechanic so ill put it like this its like shock absorbtion on a car, you have struts shocks and bearings so when you hit a bump you dont feel it, well the struts shocks and bearings for her is the amniotic fluid muscles and layer of fat...the baby is well protected and its very good for the baby to get used to your touch and voice now, "AHA I GET IT NOW" he said..LMAO!! ever since yesterday his hand has been glued to my belly..i woke up at 2 am and his hand was on top of the belly...�� so beautiful!.. i couldnt of asked for a better life!! xoxoxo

CRIB ARRIVED!!
YEAY!! ORDERED THE CRIB ONLINE AND IT ARRIVED TO THE WRONG HOUSE ..THANKFULLY THE NEIGHBORS CAME OVER AND ASKED IF WE WERE EXPECTING....AND BAM DANNIE WENT AND GRABBED IT...NOW ALL HE HAS TO DO IS PUT IT TOGETHER YEAY!

Prental Tests: Glucose Challenge Test
went at 8 am drank the orange soda stuff and then at 9 had blood drawn...go results yesterday 10-12-12 results came back normal :-)

GOT OUR 3 BEDROOM HOUSE!!!!!
we can officially move in september 1st but im going to go in and do the nursery and everything then start moving in!! but by october 1st we will be alll in !!

Husband/Partner Felt Baby Move for the First Time
we were laying in bed, he put his hands on my belly and starting talking to our babygirl and BAM she moved and kicked so hard he jumped and was like holy shit sam, that has to feel weird!! but he cried!

Found Out Baby's Gender
OH my goodness! we went to the anatomy sonogram yesterday, and baby was being stubborn!! They had me turn on my left side then my right side then re empty bladder than walk for a few , WE saw baby YAWN it was like baby said "nope im too tired try later" LOLthen i hadda lay in one of them advanced beds and they tilted me allll the way down so i was practically upside down, and BAM baby started movin away! AND WERE EXPECTING A GIRL! :)

Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
I thought it was just a huge gas bubble until i had told my gf who has a 8 month old baby about it and she said no samantha, thats the baby! so as i layed back down in bed that night i felt the baby moving!! I have felt it before but since this is the day i first realized it!

Omg! so i thought it was just a reallllly bad gas bubble but it had been occuring all day, well i had told my gf who has a 9 month old lil girl and she said "samantha thats not gas thats the quickening" ya know your baby moving" awwe i love you baby

WENT SWIMMING FOR FIRST TIME (PREGNANT)
So i went swimming and what a blast! ahhh sooo relaxing!
First off i had my HTB take me to buy a bathing suit bc all mine from last yr wouldnt fit the boobs! so after 45 minutes in the store i finally found one, and a wrap i liked! and i got in the pool for over an hr! WOAH! got a nice lil tan too :)

Prental Tests: Amniocentesis
Had the Downs Syndrome testing done where they take few drops of blood as well as measure the thing on neckline from U/S, came back negative so no need for amnio!!! :) thank god

Picked a Name
We've had the boys name picked since we were around 8 1/2 weeks pregnant and we are on the fence about a girls name we have a few in mind but arent exactly positive

My HTB and his mother my MIL went to have the U/S and i thought i was only 6 1/2 weeks but nope 8 weeks 2 days :)

Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
heard it same day as (dating)U/S

heard STRONG heartbeat on 6/19/12 at 10 am was beautiful! i cried :)

Announced Pregnancy to Family
I had told my sister in law before anyone bc we are close, then my mom knew bc my boobs were huge so i told her and i told my brother in a text message on 5/24 i sent him a picture of the sonogram and said "YOUR GOING TO BE AN UNCLE" its awesome bc his son just turned 2 so our kids will grow up together. My brother and i are only 3 yrs apart so itll be perfect!

Told Husband/Partner
I wanted to wait a few days after having my BFP at 750 pm but it was on the dresser bc i was in shock and my HTB came home sooner than i thought and caught me off guard he walked in room to talk to me and looked down and saw the + and said " IM GONNA BE A DADDY"? "ARE YOU SURE IS IT TRUE"? HE HAD 2 TEARS RUN DOWN HIS FACE and then of coarse i started crying my lil eyes out! ahhh awesome

I am with you on the slowing down part, I find it hard to do the stairs now with hip pain and shortness of breath so I am all about asking my kids to run upstairs for this and that. They are like, really mom? Yay for baby being head down, that is one thing I am scared of since baby has been head down at all my u/s until my 27 week one where she said he was frank breech. I then had an u/s at 30 weeks and she said he was head down but I never felt him turn. It just worries me that he will keep turning and turning until he runs out of room and then he will get stuck in the breech position. Oh we'll, I guess only time will tell. So are you announcing baby girls name at your shower this weekend? I can't wait to hear what it is!
