My Milestones & Events

On December 21, 2012 at 34 weeks 1 day pregnant
Baby Dropped
got confirmation at my last appointment she is head down! :)

On December 7, 2012 at 32 weeks 1 day pregnant
Installed Car Seat
dont remember it being that hard, but finally got her seat put in and strapped down! now all we need is her! :)

On November 21, 2012 at 29 weeks 6 days pregnant
Finished the Nursery
got everything put into it's place, crib is put together and everything is where it belongs! all we need is babygirl to make it complete :)

On November 4, 2012 at 27 weeks 3 days pregnant
Baby Shower
Had an awesome time! unfortunately all the pictures were lost so I dont have any keepsakes besides the invitation :( we got EVERYTHING we needed plus more! couldn't be happier!

Started Maternity Leave
Found out I have placenta previa so looks like I will be home on bedrest until the baby is born :/

Husband/Partner Felt Baby Move for the First Time
We were laying in bed and I put my hand on my stomach because I could feel the baby moving around. Finally for the first time I felt the baby kick my hand so I told my husband to put his hand there and just wait and the baby rolled around and gave one hard kick to his hand. I asked him if he felt it and he said yes! I was so excited!!

Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
Laid in bed this morning and all of a sudden it felt like everything moved from the back to the front and all of a sudden I could feel every little movement! I've had a baby before but this felt amazing, just to feel my little baby moving around!

Picked a Name
Hubby and I had 2 names to choose between for our baby girl

in the end we picked:
Julisa Rose Berlanga <3

Announced Baby's Gender to Family
Sent everyone a text message/picture message letting them know the good news! They're all so excited to be welcoming another baby girl!

Found Out Baby's Gender
Decided to go to an elective ultrasound clinic, chinese gender chart couldn't be more wrong cuz we are definitely having a baby girl!! :) Although I wanted a boy, I'm happy my babygirl will have a little sister to relate to her!

Bought Baby's First Outfit
Went to the mall after we went to our elective ultrasound to buy baby Julisa her first few outfits and shoes :)

On August 10, 2012 at 15 weeks 1 day pregnant
Started Wearing Maternity Clothes
don't HAVE to wear maternity clothes but they are DEFINITELY more comfortable at this point, none of my pants button so I'm using a belly band! Those things are LIFESAVERS!!

Ultrasound!
Got an ultrasound to date when my due date is, changed to Feb. 1, 2013!

Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
Had a monthly prenatal visit, the nurse put the doppler on my belly and it was very hard to hear but the babys heartbeat was 154 bpm. Also, he/she was kicking and moving like crazy so we could hear all that on the doppler too!

First Ultrasound
I was having cramping so me and hubby went to the hospital to make sure everything was ok. I wasn't able to see the ultrasound due to hospital policies when you go to the ER the patient is not allowed to see, BUT the ultrasound tech and the doctor both informed me everything was absolutely normal and the baby is growing healthy!! So happy my baby is doing good and growing right on schedule!!!

Got baby's crib!
I work at an apartment complex and a resident ordered a crib, thought it never came in, ordered another one, picked up the second one only to find out we indeed actually received the first one and she just wasn't notified on time. She said she didnt need it and decided I could have it :) I couldnt be more thankful!!!

On May 30, 2012 at 4 weeks 3 days pregnant
First Prenatal Appointment
Went to the doctor, found out my due date is jan. 31,2013!! :) She also prescribed me progesterone 200 mg twice a day! I'm so happy and excited!!

Told Husband/Partner
We were bbqing with friends, I took pregnancy test and when it came up positive I ran down the stairs to tell him the news! He was so happy, he showed his friends, and they made sure to congratulate us

First Positive Pregnancy Test
Positive pregnancy test around 8PM!
