I know different sites say the third trimester starts at different times, but looks like you're in it to me! Yay, another milestone! It is best to do what you're comfortable with as far as where to birth your baby. Complications can arise from fear alone, so if you're more comfortable in a hospital that's where you should be:) I'm literally 1 mile away from the hospital so if by chance anything would go awry I'm sure my husband would make it there in 17 seconds, lol. I've also had a home birth once before so I'm much more comfortable with it because of that. I've also had two hospital births and there was nothing terrible about them at all. I had one induction and one my water broke. The pitocin wasn't nearly as bad as I had heard. I noticed no difference in natural contractions vs. pitocin contractions. As long as you go into it with a good attitude and without fear(a good doctor helps too:) things usually go well! Anyhoo, what a long message, lol! Have a nice day;)

Thank Papas~Mama! Yes I am very happy I have reached double digits now!
Your birth plan sounds amazing. I basically have decided to do the hospital birth due to the fact that I have very unstable blood pressure issues. I suffer from "white coat syndrome", so every obgyn appointment I have had I have a high reading when I am there. I take my pressure at home and its fine so it only happens when I have an audience basically. Anyhow, she was very concerned in the beginning but now realises that its just my little mind tricks that cause it, but nevertheless she pretty much would like to know that I am being monitored properly throughout the pregnancy in case it does spike naturally. I'm not even sure if she does home births.
I guess I am just concerned with the risks as in Australia I don't think its really the normal as such. I would still love to do it but I also have my concerns with it, not having docs on hand, drugs, etc. You know?

Oh, and congrats on passing the 100 days left milestone! That was a big one for me.

Thanks for the journal comment, we're feeling good:) My back was feeling good the last few months(it was REAL bad around 16 wks), but the last week or so it's started to really hurt again. I'm getting really tired again too. I am having a very private birth with just my husband and my mother(she's a nurse!). Just got my pool in the mail yesterday:) Can I ask what changed your mind about having a home birth? Anything to do with your husband's comfort level?
