Well apparently I'm overweight. My pre-preggo weight was 155 (bmi 25 -- which is borderline overweight/borderline normal... but the way my OB talks, I feel like I'm an unhealthy bum. I've already gained 15 pounds and I'm only 20.5 weeks. According to math on this page we're supposed to do, I should have gained 5 lbs the first trimester (gained about 7) and then one pound a week after that. So I should've gained 13 lbs by now I guess. I don't know. I want to go back to my college weight of 135. I felt so sexy and confident back then. Now, I feel I'll be overweight after the baby :(

I am doiing okay so far, I have gained about 1 pound and I am 14 weeks...I fall into the obese category at 5'3 and 188 pounds...that is not a pretty word. Obese. Makes you feel really ugly just to hear that. And the doctor said, "You don't need to gain any weight." I'm like, uhhh, yeah. I know I'm fat thanks for re-iterating that for me. I wish men knew what it is like to be hungry and have to worry about every damn pound.

Pre-pregnancy I weighed 140 and am 5' 2 1/2" with a curvy body (booty, thighs, hips, small waist). Now I am 185 lbs. at 27 weeks pregnant and still have a waist. I am WAYYYYYY overweight but am not concerned because to look at me you'd think I weighed 160. Plus, thankfully I don't have gestational diabetes or any other health concerns. I have always and still do excercise and eat healthy with the occassional splurge. Best wishes to all you ladies for a rest of a comfortable and healthy pregnancy!

I gained the correct amount of weight with my first. i was 156 when i gave birth. but a stenuous labor and being pumped with drugs (had GD so got like fove bags of insulin a day and had to get antibiptics cause i was only 35 weeks). Benjamin was born after two days. my hip was fractured and i was not diagnosed for a whole year. Then they find out my heart is weak from a difficult labor and delivery as i outprocess out of the army this september. which explains why i cant run anymore without gasping for air or turning blue. the Pregnancy PT program does nothing but make us lazy the army is so afraid our fetuses will fall out.....so im overweight little. used to be 116. Now 133 when my weight should be 125. Well gpod time.for super healthy food i suppose. never getting prenatal care throuvh the army again

My doctors keep griping at me for my weight, but I just dont feel its an issue. I weighed 132 pre-pregnancy, and now I weigh 166 at 29 weeks pregnant. My legs and butt got alittle bigger but otherwise, you cant tell Ive gained that much. I always lose it quickly after having my babies anyways. I think some docs take it TOO seriously. I understand if I was already overweight or if I had gestational diabetes or blood pressure problems but I have none of the above. So LEAVE ME ALONE ABOUT MY WEIGHT! lol. I dont listen anyways when they tell me to stop drinking milk and take it easy on the fruit bc of my weight gain. Uhhhh excuse me? Have you ever been pregnant? I didnt think so..hahaha...vent for the day.
