I went for a vey early ultrasound at 6 weeks when my daughter was the size of a grain of rice and saw her tnt heartbeat on screen. Was also a transvaginal one. This Was called a reassurance scan and normally only used in very anxious pregnancies or those who have had multiple losses before (like me) it’s not what average Mums get offered in general. I also had a scan at 8 weeks and then the normal 12 weeks.
Sure they’ll offer one soon if you had one before at that date... think it also depends on the area.
