Q: Question??? 7 Weeks Ultrasound

Hi Ladies, I am 5 weeks today and i booked my 7 week ultrasound...Is the ultrasound internal and can you hear the babys heart beat that early?

OH and sorry, both were vaginal. Doctor said its the best way to get a clear picture and sound. My first belly ultrasound was 13 weeks and we could see and hear baby fine too.

My first appt I was 6w2d and baby's HB was 114, seen and heart it clearly. 2 weeks later baby was measuring 8w with 176 HB and it was even louder! We just found out it is a girl so maybe that's why, haha!

I was 5 weeks 6 days for my early u/s and they did both a vaginal and belly u/s. With the vaginal I got to hear a heartbeat of around 105 BPM.

I had my first ultrasound at 6w1d and it was internal. We heard and saw baby's heartbeat at that visit :) I'm sure that you will be able to hear the heartbeat at 7w! Good luck!

I had an ultrasound at 8 w 4d, mine was just a regular ultrasound, not internal and I got to hear the babies hearbeat. I cried and cried and cried, a sound you'll never forget.

HI, I had one at 6weeks 3 days and all we saw was the yolk sac, then a week later at 7 weeks 3 days we saw both baby and heartbeat, we even got to hear it! they did a trans vag. on me cause it was early! hope you get to hear your blessing!

I'm 9w 6d now. I had my first U/S on Mar 30th. It was a transvaginal ultrasound when I was 7w 2d , they told the baby was 6w3d then. We saw a heartbeat but don't hear it.Â
