Q: 14dpo & bleeding? :(

I'm thinking I'm having a chemical pregnancy but I sure hope not! I woke up this morning at 5 to go pee and when I wiped there was bright pinkish blood, it wasn't a lot like AF or a MC but I'm worried.. I have my doctors appt today at 8 but I'm Freaking out already. We been trying for two yrs (after our MC) & this is as close as we gotten :( idk what to think.

Also take a lot of folic acid, this strengthens and thickens your uterus :) My gunea told me to drink my prenatal vitmans and extra folic acid while I was ttc.. xo

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss :( I was a long time TTC and need progesterone to induce a period under regular conditions, so I know a bit about it. Lucky for me, I didn't need it for my luteal phase, but it sounds like that's what you'll be needing. Here's the 411: On your next TTC cycle, you'll start taking the progesterone right after you ovulate. You'll probably be asked to bbt chart or do OPK's to find out when this is. It's important to start it right away to ensure that the uterine lining begins to thicken and can support a pregnancy. You'll then take the pills for the rest of your cycle, and keep taking them for the first trimester if you get your BFP :) You'll want to take the pills right at bedtime as they will make you very, very sleepy. This is actually nice as I got some of the best sleep I had had in months (I was under a lot of stress at the time)! Good luck and big hugs to you!

http://nccam.nih.gov/health/chasteberry

Chasteberry may affect certain hormone levels. Women who are pregnant, or taking birth control pills or who have a hormone-sensitive condition (such as breast cancer) should not use chasteberry.

Look your doc is prob the expert here.... But I dont see why you would need to take this? Have a listen to what she has to say first though.

I have never heard of this Chaste Berry before though. I would def say stick to the pills and cream she gave you, as soon as you get even the faintist BFP start taking the supplements... :) Even if it ends up not being a BFP Im sure it cant do any harm... I have to run, home time which means lots of traffic, will check back tomorrow and do some more research... Take it easy and rest hun. Lots of love to you. xxx

I really hope we did figure out what is going on and how to stop these M/C because i've done everything and anything in the book to prevent a M/C.. So hopefully this progesterone cream/pill works the next time! she also mentioned Chaste Berry.. have you ever heard of that? she said she would go over it with me on monday.

usmcwife317, I am so sorry hunny :( It is never easy to go through this. I also know its hard to say the right thing as at this point in time you dont wanna hear it. I really pray that your next pregnancy will be happy and healthy. I pray that you will make peace with your little Angel in heaven, I also pray that they have now found the reason for the M/S and that you do not have to go through it again and that they are able to avoid it by all means. My heart goes out to you hunny, again if you wanna chat please feel free to inbox me. God bless...

I know it does suck :( :( I had a chemical and could not believe AF made an apperance more than a week late :( Progesterone is Hormonal pills I started bleeding dark red with seroius cramps @8 weeks (The pills help the body keep the baby), Ended up being either late implantion bleeding or rupturing of a vein that the baby may have been pushing on. Its never easy going through things like this, do you have a close friend for support? You can always inbox me if you wanna talk... My thoughts are with you :( Good luck with the doc appointment. xxx
