My boyfriend and I told our families around 7 weeks and also a few close friends. I'm 12.5 weeks now and still haven't made any big Facebook post or anything. I kinda wanna keep this to ourselves for awhile to enjoy it without having people giving me their 2 cents on the matter. I have a friend that wait until she was about 4.5-5 months before she told her friends.

We're waiting for 12 weeks. Currently 7 weeks. It is soooo hard to not tell ANYONE!! Friends announced today that they were 1 month pregnant! So not fair they get to tell everyone!!!!!! Just seems alot safer to wait though!! Funny thing is if I were to miscarry the first thing I would do it call some close friends/family up to tell them, but as much as I trust these folks...people get excited and blab without trying too!!

we told our parents after our six week ultrasound and they had seen the heartbeat and everything looked fine. We also told my sister-in-laws. i am currently 8 and half weeks and we are waiting till I am 12 weeks before we tell extended family and friends. We lost a little one at 7 weeks 3 days in the past and found that it was just easier to explain no baby to our parents and immediate family than the whole world. We did this with my daughter also.

Which was a complete invasion of my privacy, and increadibly rude of her. It was my choice who to tell and when to tell them, and she walked all other that. I was still getting used to the fact that I was pregnant and she had no regards or respect for that at all.

I told my fiancé immediately of course. And my oldest bother,my mom & dearest friend within a few days. I wanted to tell the people I felt would be there for me if anything were to end badly. I would have waited longer to tell my other two brothers, but one of them was in a car accident, so told them sooner than planned. I told my Dad at about 8-9 weeks,I was scared, &didnt want to tell him. From there I told people whenever I happened to see them. I waited until I had told the people who mean the most to me face to face before I put it on Facebook. Sadly I had to wait longer than expected for that to happen, 16 weeks. Ideally I would have put it on there sooner, but Facebook is not the way for people who mean something to you to find out you are expecting. I was really unset for a while though because my sister in law (whom I despise) thought it was her business to tell literally everyone she had in her phone, including people I've never met (complete inva

We waited until 12-15 weeks to tell family (a few at a time), starting with both sets of parents at 12 weeks and 13 weeks, then extended family over the next few weeks. I told a few very close friends earlier, and some folks (including my employers) still don't know. I'm 21 weeks and will not tell my employers until they ask me as I do freelance work and could lose jobs over the news if they think I will be an unreliable worker.

With our first we told everyone after our 6 week ultrasound. We lost our baby at 13 weeks. This time we waited until we passed the 16 week mark. I am now 16 weeks 6 days.

I told my family as soon as we found out! They all knew we were trying so it was a really exciting moment for all of us. I told the rest of my friends and family after my 12 week scan. I was about 13 weeks 1 day. I posted a picture of my 2 year old daughter wearing a best big sister shirt on facebook. That got everyone's attention! Then I posted an ultrasound picture too.
