Q: So tired!

I am almost 30 weeks, and I work as a cosmetologist. We have been really busy lately, and I am seriously exhausted. My blood pressure is good, no GD, and baby is doing great...moving all the time. So, I feel like I have no right to complain. I do not want to quit working, but it is difficult to cut back on the amount of work I do. I do pedicures, which require me to get up and down out of the floor, which is getting difficult and painful. What's worse is that my boss is always cold, so she turns on the heater, and I end up sweating so much I literally have to go check to see if my water has broken. I guess there's not much of a question here, I just needed to rant, and to hopefully get some empathy from other full time working preggos, lol.

I hear ya! I am a massage therapist and this job is killing me! I really want to keep going for the money but it's so hard and I'm so exhausted. I get so hot and so tired & my back is killing me from bending over! Arg! I also just found out that I'm anemic so I'm hoping that the suppliments will help. Good luck; I feel for ya! I am so happy to be pregnant but it's sure tough on our bodies sometimes! Hang in there!

I feel for you!! Im a stay at home mom and i said to my husband yesterday "i am so glad im not working a full time job right now, i dont know how some women can do it" Im 30 weeks too, and the exhaustion has hit full force. I did get a call from my doctor that my iron levels were low, so taking my supplement has seemed to help give me some energy back. I give you credit for working at this point!! good for you! not much longer now.

I know what you mean. I am 28 weeks pregnant and yesterday I went home and took a 2 hour nap. I was just worn out. And I have a desk job, so it's not like I am doing a lot of standing or walking around. My job is a little cerebral (LOL) in that I deal with demographic numbers but I still feel at the end of the day like I have gotten no sleep and am just exhausted. I have just resigned myself to push through it. We are on the home stretch girlie. Just try to stay positive and think of the end result.
