I was 2 cm dilated from about 37 weeks. I was induced on my due date. Labor itself was only from 7:30 to midnight and was not bad once I got the epidural. My little girl was face up and not face down so she got hung up on my pubic bone which made pushing long and hard. That is not normal and I am hoping that this baby is face down!

my water broke at 37 weeks (BIG GUSH hollywood style) contractions started 2 hours after that and my daughter was born 4 hours after contractions started.

I'm not yet in labor but have been having pre-term contractions since 31weeks. On a good day they are every 5 minutes and only midly painful. On most other days they are either every 3min or every 1 min and are breathtakingly painful.

Really holding out hope that this just makes labor a breeze when the time comes! And also hoping that weeks of bed rest makes the time come nearer to full-term!!

There is no way to predict how/when yours will arrive!!

My water began a slow trickle 9/28/04. Next day doc gave me pitocin at 8am and finished off my bag of waters. I began pushing around noon and my dtr was born at 3:08pm. I begged for Vaccum assistance or a c section after 3 hours of pushing. Doc used the Vaccum and she came out after like 2-3 pushes. The instant relief was amazing!! I tore too but didn't feel it. GL. I'm sure you'll be fine. :)

I was 38 weeks and 2 days... Real labour lasted about 8 hours :)

I was induced at 39 weeks. Pitocin started at 2 am and my daughter was born at 754 am (with an hour of pushing). She weighed 6lbs 4 oz and was 20 inches long! I had a super quick and easy labor and am hoping for something similar this time around also!

Was a week late with my first. Was induced with him at noon and had him 9hrs later at 9.21pm. weighing 8lb14oz

Was 2+weeks early with my second. Labour started at midnight, got to the hospital at 1.50am, had her at 2.12am. Was only 2 hours labour with her and no meds! She was 6lb10oz.

I went into labor at 38 weeks and was dilating, but didn't progress until 39 weeks and 5 days. Labored 4 and a half hours and then pushed for and hour and out came my 21" 8 pound 2 ounce boy.

i was induced with my first when i was 10days overdue and had her on the 14th day of being overdue weighing 5lb9 she was soo tiny but my second who i went natrually with at 4days overdue was only 5lb12 so i must just have small babies lol.
