Q: How many weeks were you when you went into labor/gave birth to your first baby? (without induction!)

I am nearly 30 weeks now with my first and the reality is setting in that I'm going to meet my baby not too long from now! Just curious when you ladies went into labor naturally with your first & how long after that until you gave birth. I know it is said that women more often then not go over their due date with their first baby...trying to gather my own information to see whether or not that is really true!

I'm 40 weeks, due Thursday and have been labouring for about 3 days now, still at the beginning stages and only starting to get stronger feelings now. Babies have their own schedule, so be prepare to go into labour anywhere between 2 weeks before and after your due date. GL!

I went into labor at 37 weeks, but it stalled and turned into non-active labor. I ended up going into full labor 3 days before my due date.

I went to my normal doctor appointment on a Friday afternoon and my dr checked me and said i was dilated about 1/2 a cm. I was told to come back in the following Monday morning (8-3-09) to repeat my non stress test like every week bc of my toxemia.. The dr came in after being monitored and asked if i was hurting and I said im just uncomfortable like always. He explained I was having regular contractions so checked me and realized I was 4-5 cms dilated so they admitted me at 10:30 am and was in labor all day and started pushing around 9:30pm and pushed for 3 1/2 hours and she was born at 12:54 am on 8-4-09 I was 36 weeks 6 days when she was born!!
