I'm in Florida and they already include my bfs income because we live together. Did they ask for his income information already when you applied?

My friend is a social worker and is very fluent in the Medicaid journey. I asked her and she said though most of the state's have their own guidelines, they tend to follow the same pattern. She said you probably fall within the threshold of still maintaining Medicaid coverage. To be safe, she said to call the local Medicaid office and speak to someone there, just as others have suggested. Good luck!

If you get married, they will include his salary as part of your household income. However, $600 a month is so far below the poverty line for a family of 3, you should be safe. Go online. You can find your state's income guidelines for Medicaid.

When you get married they look at total household income and it's a different threshold (higher than for a single person). Do what the previous poster suggested and research online or call your local medicaid office and they can assist you.
