Q: Why is my 6 month old is fussier than usual?I know that this question doesn't fit in with the others

My baby just 6 months, she is normally a happy baby that doesn't fuss unless it's time for bed in which she doesn't want to sleep...but just over the past week she has gotten fussier during the day, when I set her down she doesn't seem to want to play as much as she used too, I was reading that babies go through growth spurts around this time and it could be that...or teething. She does want to sleep a lot more during the day too. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated, thank you!

It could be a lot of different things. I always knew my daughter was either teething or about to hit a developmental milestone by her sleeping patterns. 6 months is a big age in baby development, so I'm sure it is one of those two things. I would definitely NOT to try & force her to stay awake during the day as research (and experience) has proven, that in young children, sleep deprivation only makes her sleep patterns at night much worse. Try & keep her on her normal routine & things should go back to normal within a few weeks. It will be tough on momma, but as with all phases, this too shall pass.

It might just be her night and days are switched around which is maybe why she is fussy, try for one day not letting her take a nap, keep her busy, or limit her nap. See if that works. I have four daughters all in teens now but I have been there before lol one was actually fussy to do milk upsetting her stomach, you just never truly know till you try just about everything lol. Good luck :)
