Q: 29 weeks - period type pains

Hi Ladies, I just wanted to check this out with you.....I am 29 w, 3 d and have been experiencing episodes of what feels like mild period pains. I have been assuming that it is just where by uterus is stretching further - (we have a big baby in there), but I had it all morning today and it worried me a little. Everything else is fine, I just want to make sure that this is indeed normal and ascertain exactly why it happens? Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm getting them but they only last a few moments or so, nothing that concerns me (I'm 30 weeks). I'd assume they are just stretching and the weight of our bellies at this point, but as usual if you are concerned you might want to bring it up to your doctor. Braxton hicks some women just don't notice, for me, I wouldn't compare them to period type pain, although everyone is different. Personally I think what you are feeling is normal ;)
