Q: Assisted second stage of labor anyone ??

Ok so. I wa soriginally told i needed a c section because pusbong would be to danerous with this brain /spinal cord issue ihave .Now the doctors have changed there minds .i can have him but will not be allowed to push and will have to deliver him through vaccum or forceps with minimal pushing.I have only heard terrible thigs about both options
.anyone had to have this ? Did they cut you ? How was baby ? How long did it take ???? Im super curious and can only find horror stories online .

I had a forceps delivery on my daughter as her heart rate was dropping with each contraction but not coming back up. Everything was fine. I was cut but I healed perfectly and had no pain what so ever. My daughter was born healthy and perfect with no marks or distortion to her head. I was really upset to have had forceps as I wanted to deliver naturally but they will only do it if they have to. The health of your baby really is the most important thing. This really will be the best thing for him if that's what they are telling you. Good luck and I hope everything goes well for you xx
