Q: Pregnant with my second child. When should I put in my request for a new uniform at work?

I work at tim hortons and I recently found out I am expecting my second baby. I have heard that you start to show earlier in you second pregnancy.

I have intended to wait as long as possible to tell my boss I am pregnant just because anything can happen when its early.

However it takes time to order in a new uniform and my current one (if you have ever seen the Tim Horton's uniforms) they belt up at the waste rather uncomfortably.

When do you think I should request a new one?

Thank You!
I am going to wait as far into June as I can. I'll be 13 weeks July 1st or so. So unless I start getting sick I'll wait until I'm closer to the "safe" point.

Thanks for the advice

I'm not sure how soon you showed with your first, but I started showing about 4 weeks sooner than last time. So, I was in maternity clothes by around 14 weeks this time (and this is my 2nd child also), my sister-in-law is also pregnant with her second, and she started showing at 12 weeks...so it's hard to tell. I guess it depends on how long it takes to get a uniform. Since it belts at the waist, I think your uniform will be uncomfortable sooner than later.

I think that's more of a case-by-case basis kind of problem. If they're starting to get uncomfortable now, personally, I would look at least modifying the uniform you have.
