Q: Is it ok to not have Morning Sickness?

I was told by a few Doctors that having Morning Sickness is a good sign and a sign of a healthy pregnancy. I haven't had anything more than just mild nausea. Is it true what I've heard? Should I be worried? I'm 6 weeks 3 days today and I'm paranoid.

With my 3rd baby I had morning sickness for less then a week. Had a healthy baby! Morning sickness didn't hit at the same time with each of my pregnancies. With my current pregnancy it hit around 7 weeks :0)

I'm very jealous ð???! At first, my doctor told me the nausea and vomiting were a good sign, so naturally, I was happy. However, I'm into my second trimester and still have severe bouts of vomiting. Count your blessing. I have 3 friends who are currently pregnant. None of them have had morning sickness, and all of them are having healthy pregnancies. I think doctors made that up to make people feel better after vomiting day in and day out lol!

If it helps, Ive had two babies, one of each, and not even the slightest bit of nausea or vomiting throughout either pregnancy...zero symptoms whatsoever, actually. My boy was born at 40w4d and my girl at 41w1d...both very healthy. Having/not having symptoms doesnt mean everything is or isnt fine. Ive seen plenty of women be sicker than dogs and lose the baby...dont stress over what u dont feel, just enjoy it!
Congrats! =))

Morning sickness is throwing up or just feeling nausea. All my morning sickness was me just feeling nausea all day and now I'm full term and can have my baby girl any day now. So I wouldn't worry at all and there can be days that you won't feel sick at all.

6 weeks may be a bit early for some of your symptoms to be rearing their ugly heads yet. :)

And even though morning sickness can be a sign that everything is going well, the absence of morning sickness doesn't necessarily mean that something's wrong. Lots of women have nausea-free pregnancies and deliver perfectly healthy babies. It may just mean that your body is handling the hormones better than some.
