Q: Does anyone have experience with having a cervical pessary instead of a cerclage?

Hello I am currently 9+2 weeks pregnant previously I have had a preterm birth at 21 weeks due to losing my mucus plug spontaneously and also had a mc at 7 weeks. So needless to say this time I'm a bit nervous although everything is good so far but my doctor did tell me upon conceiving again I would more than likely need to get a cerclage but my new obgyn has informed me of something called a cervical pessary which is less evasive than a cerclage and does not require any surgery. From what she says it is similar to a diaphragm. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this type of method? I'm willing to do whatever to hold on to my little Blessing!
