Good day ladies,
Congratulations! I totally understand how overwhelming the time of and after the pregnancy can be. It gets really difficult at times to cope with all the stress and an imbalanced body for a very long time, even after when your baby is born.Because of all the wrecked hormones, and the imbalance created in the body. Imbalance in our hormones, and a disturbed menses is pretty normal with post-partum women, because the body is still trying to cope with all the heavy boost of the pregnancy hormones. That's normal. It can take months to return to a predictable cycle and it may or may not be like it was before you had kids. My cycle changed after both of mine and was really unpredictable for months after my dd. It is said, that it usually takes up to another year before the body of the mother is completely on her normal routines of menses. It is thus best advisable to breastfeed until a minimum duration of 6 months, and to not consume any birth pills.

Hi I had my Bub in April also. I took about 10 weeks to recover then AF was back as normal back to 28 day cycles.
It is a little strange specially if your not breastfeeding. I would go and see an OB specialist rather than a GP doctor. There must be an underlying reason. They can investigate further into it for you. Good luck :-)

Depends on a lot of things...
Are you breastfeeding?
Are you on any type of birth control?
