Q: I'm 23 weeks pregnant but wondering if I can get my doctor to write me out of work now.

I'm high risk since the start of my pregnancy I have bipolar, panic anxiety, and ptsd. I'm currently working full time about 1-2 hours driving on way. It's a call center so high stress there as well. When I get off work I come home and take care of the kids and the house not to mention I have doctor appts and was having contractions Wednesday because of the stress Ive been having.
My job is only seasonal for open enrollment but been having to miss work a lot and I'm wondering if because of all my stress if I can get my doctor to just write me out of work. I can't mentally handle working, kids and house. I already know I'll be out of the job come the end of January or start or February but don't want to just quit and I'm not sure how to go about asking my clinic if that's be something they can do.

chances are that you will take more than the usual time to come up after your pregnancy. Instead of handling everything from afar, stay home and search for some work from home jobs while you will be on the maternity leave. And about you getting an off from your job, well, according to the Constitution, no woman should be forced to work if she does not feel alright while being pregnant. So you can apply for your maternity leave right away. And for more, you can even stay home and work. There are ample of job opportunities present today. You don't have to worry and take stress over the board. You should instead enjoy pregnancy. It is beautiful and worthy of all the pain that comes along.
have fun and stay healthy

good evening, ladies.
Congratulations to you, my dear. I know it can be stressful. Pregnancy is a situation with a lot of stress and chaos. And not to forget every woman have different endurance to it. And it is never like you are over reacting, because with the baby in your womb and all those extra hormones can really take a toll on your body, big time. However hard anyone tries to relax and calm down, the reality is that restless ness is within your nature while being pregnant. And any advice feels like easy said than done. Every woman tries really hard to keep up with all the body hard work and the stress from the outside, but it really gets very hard. I must say that you are really being very brave with doing all the work altogether. I can't even imagine doing all of it together. But I would suggest you to not forget that any kind and level of stress can be dangerous for the baby. You will have to seriously maintain your stress management scenario. If you will remain tired always

It's just I can't mentally handle everything it makes me mentally and physically exhausted. I know I'll be out the job but that's going to happen anyway But i'd rather have my doctor write me out that way my boyfriend can actually see how hard of a time I'm really having with trying to do everything and if I just quit even though I'm high risk I wouldn't qualify for unemployment.

absolutely possible. but im not sure for leave towards 3rd trimester. As from what I heard, it is possible to get 1-2 months leave for early pregnancy first trimester. its all depending on the risk u r having and doctor knows better.
