Q: Very low HCG levels i am looking for an answer

I am currently 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant i took the HPT on 12/30/15. During that week i had been spotting lightly and was due for my period actually on 12/24/15.I made an appointment on 12/30/15 with the OBGYN the same day of taking the HPT told her of my concerns the doctor decided to do a PAP smear, and order for me to do blood work on the same day. My first HCG levels came back at 211, i took another set at a different lab it was 290 on 1/2/16. I went to back to the doctors office they said that it doesn't look good and that i may have an etopic pregnancy. I explained i have no pain and the spotting has stopped since Saturday. Since i had the second blood work done at a different lab i needed to go back for more. The thirdset was done on 1/6/16 these hcg levels was 369, and the latest was held on1/8/16 is currently  at 425.I had another discussion with the OBGYN i now noticed spotting only when i have a bowel movement. On 1/12/16 i go back for more blood work. I need for adv

Well i went for more blood work today. Then within a couple hours i had really bad cramps and then i started bleeding heavily along with the clots so i knew i was on my way of miscarring my baby. At least the baby fully passed as i was in the hospital. Thank god for my coworker because it started when i got to work later in the morning.
I have so many mixed emotions but thank you all for the advice. I just want my baby. I never thought i could conceive and by miracle it happened.

Thank you. I never thought about getting my progesterone levels checked nor was it even suggested but i am definitely going to bring it up later today. I have another blood test this morning, i am praying for a miracle.

It could also be vanishing twin syndrome. Did your doctor also check your progesterone levels? Low levels of this can also cause early miscarriage. I would ask your doctor for a progesterone supplement, as it could help. There have been successful stories of low level HCG pregnancies, so hopefully you are one of those. Hoping for good news with your next blood draw.

I wish you weren't going through this. It sounds very much like the pregnancy isn't progressing the way it should. I'm sorry. I do understand how difficult that it. Given your bloodwork and the fact your HCG being so low it really sounds like a miscarriage. Keep us posted in how everything goes. I went through several chemical pregnancies before getting pregnant this time. The only reason I keep trying was because I told myself that when it happens it will. All you can do is hope for the best.
