Q: Belly Ring While Pregnant?

Hey everyone. So I'm 4 1/2 months along so far and I have a belly button ring in still. I bought a maternity one but was wondering how long some of you waited before switching to a maternity ring? I seem to have a rather large bump for how far along I am lol so I'm thinking I should switch soon but figured I'd see what some of you ladies did!

I wore mine through my whole pregnancy with my first, and like lala, it stretched out. For my second baby, I bought a maternity bar and even it got tight after a bit, so I took it out. Every few days I put it back in for an hour or so, just to kinda reinforce things, then took it out again. Nothing was stretched and the hole didn't close.

I've had it for 8 years so I'm not so concerned with it closing, I just wanna change it in time so it doesn't stretch out or possibly tear and get infected. It still has a little wiggle room with a regular ring in so I'm thinking I'll probably have to change it within the next couple of weeks but wasn't too sure.

I wore mine the entire time my first pregnancy and noticed after she was born the hole was a little stretched out. I took it out the second pregnancy around 4 months and left it out and I am now on baby 4 and the hole still isn't closed. Not sure how long you have had it but that's usually a piercing that takes a while to heal over and close completely.

Hi jtyler91 I too am looking to use a maternity bar but not sure when or if I should as I have read mixed reviews about it, but everyone is different. In my opinion if you are looking at getting one then go onto amazon there is a few on therereally cheap and free delivery depending where you live, it's worth a go. I'm going to order mine next week.x
