Q: bleeding in the 1st trimester

Hi according to my last cycle I should be 7 weeks and some days but my vaginal u/s is measuring the baby at 6 week and 3 days also my baby heart rate is only 87 bpm which my doctor says she will like to see it over 100 bpm at this point but she also has me on progesterone 200 mg to boost my progesterone levels. I'm so concerned because for the past week and a half I've been spotting and cramping. I haven't soaked through a pad but at times has seen red blood then brown spotting, the sac and baby is in the right spot according to the ultrasound but I'm still scared that my baby isn't growing properly even though it has grown from the last ultrasound. Has this ever happened to anyone before especially the spotting and cramping early on in the pregnancy.
